The Larrivee L30 Classical Guitar Natural, now discontinued, is a straightforward Spruce and Rosewood classical guitar showing Jean Larrivee’s background in this genre. When learning guitar building, Larrivee spent a good amount of time with Edgar Monch during Monch’s time in Toronto, and learned much about guitar construction from him. It’s not surprising that to this day there are strong classical guitar influences in the design of Larrivee steel string models.

Here we are looking at a Larrivee L30 classical guitar, dated to May 31 2000 at their now-closed Vancouver plant. This guitar features a Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood for the sides, back, bridge  and head plate, Mahogany for the body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the fingerboard. Lightly decorated, there is an abalone ring around the sound hole.  It is in good, clean condition with only minor play wear.

The original hard shell case is included.
