Here is an LTD Mirage Deluxe ’87 sporting a Pearl Pink finish and in nearly new condition!

LTD guitars are a more ‘accessible’ brand in the ESP line. ESP itself started during the 1970s as a Tokyo-based repair shop, and by the mid 1980’s were recognized and sought out for the quality of their in-house builds.

The LTD Mirage Deluxe ’87 is a re-creation of an instrument from ESP’s influential 1987 catalog lineup, but with modern parts; the locking trem system is a Floyd Rose 1000, and the pickups are Seymour Duncan Hot Rail and Duncan Distortion models. Tuners are LTD branded, and all metal hardware is black. The body is Alder, paired with a three-piece thin and wide Maple neck with Macassar Ebony fingerboard. The position markers are small blocks, placed on the fingerboard edge in a manner reminiscent of the Gretsch ‘Neo-Classic’ markers. At the octave fret, a Mother of Pearl block is engraved with ‘1987’. This is all wrapped up in a ‘Pearl Pink’ finish!

This straight-ahead LTD Mirage Deluxe guitar is ready to go and plays extremely well. It’s been set up very carefully and recently by The Twelfth Fret Repair shop.
