Lowden S12 Spruce Steel String Guitar Natural, 1997

Built during 1997 at Newtonwards, Northern Ireland, this Lowden S12 pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the sides, back and neck. Overall this Lowden S12 is in good condition with light play wear. At some point, the pinless bridge was professionally re-glued. It plays nicely, and is responsive having a well developed voice with plenty of volume and projection.

Gibson SG Special Sparkling Burgundy, 2019

The Gibson SG Special first appeared under that name in 1963, but began as the Les Paul Special in 1955, and was discontinued in 1971. Construction is pretty straightforward, with a slab Mahogany body and a Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard. Indian Rosewood replaced Brazilian around 1965.

Daniel Roberts Minstrel Sunburst, 2015

The Daniel Roberts Minstrel is a rare sight and is based on a late 40’s Gibson LG-2, mid-sized steel string guitar. Extremely well built and in excellent condition, this example dates to mid-2015. Like a 40’s LG-2, the Daniel Roberts Minstrel uses a Spruce top, here of reclaimed, century old Sitka. When the LG-2 replaced the L-00 in 1942, Sitka Spruce was being used in place of Adirondack, as that wood was marked for war production.

Framus Diablo Supreme Natural, 2010

This is a Framus Diablo Supreme in Satin natural finish, built during 2010 in the Warwick shops at Markneukirchen Bavaria. Though the designation didn’t exist when this example was built, Framus soon after identified these guitars as Masterbuilt. This guitar is in very good, clean condition and features an AAA-grade book matched Maple cap on a Mahogany body and a Mahogany neck with Indian Rosewood fingerboard.

Fender Jazz V American Deluxe Sunburst, 2004

Built from 1995 to 2016, the Fender Jazz V American Deluxe bass had a significant hardware change in 2004, with new pickups and active electronics. Drawing from the classic Jazz Bass introduced in 1960, the 2004 Fender Jazz V American Deluxe uses an Alder body with a five-bolt neck plate connecting a wider, 12 inch radius Maple neck. Position marker dots are Mother of Pearl, and the truss rod adjuster is at the body end.

Gretsch White Penguin 58 Reissue G6134, 2016

The Gretsch White Penguin 58 Reissue, officially model G6134, re-creates the 1958 Bigsby-equipped version of the Jet-based Penguin. The White Penguin was created in response to the Gretsch White Falcon, itself created as a showpiece for the 1954 NAMM show and not intended for production.
