The D’Angelico Premier Bedford SH is a thinline, offset body, set neck semi-hollow model with three pickups, vintage style trem and a distinctive design. It’s well balanced, fairly lightweight and very comfortable to play. This example is in very good, clean condition with negligible wear.

Ibanez GB-10 George Benson Archtop Sunburst, 1981

The Ibanez GB-10 George Benson BS (for Brown Sunburst) is still in production as are other versions of the model, and they are as practical as when introduced. This model features two ‘floating’ mini-humbucking pickups, one attached to the fingerboard tag and the other to the pickguard. Neither contacts the top though the pickguard has a small support post. The Ibanez GB-10 George Benson has been in production since 1977 along with other versions of the model, and they are as practical as when introduced.

Gibson L-00 Sunburst, 1934

This Gibson L-00 dates to 1934, with the L-00 built from 1932 to 1945 as the lowest cost L model. There have been some reissues of 1930’s models offered in the last decade. And yes, the ’00’ is two zeros. For being plain, the Gibson L-00 models are remarkably good sounding instruments with a very even representation throughout the tonal range. As with many Gibson models, the top is Spruce. The sides, back, neck, body blocks and linings are mahogany, and the bridge and unbound fingerboard are rosewood.

Martin D16GT Steel String Dreadnought Natural, 2010

The Martin D16GT was built from 1999 to 2019 and like the D-18, pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the back, sides, body blocks and neck. The ‘GT’ references the Gloss Top finish – the rest of the guitar’s finish is satin. On these models, the fingerboard and bridge are Richlite, and the head plate is Granadillo.

Fender Jimi Hendrix Monterey Stratocaster, 2017

Shown here is a Fender Jimi Hendrix Monterey Stratocaster, built in December 2017 and in nearly unplayed condition. A trio of single-coil Stratocaster pickups give this Strat® its classic Fender sound – bell-like and articulate, it has plenty of singing sustain for soloing. The “C”-shaped maple neck bears a vintage-style 7.25″-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-sized frets for a playing feel just like the original.

Gibson Les Paul Traditional GoldTop with Bigsby, 2014

This guitar is a bit unusual – a Gibson Les Paul Traditional GoldTop with Bigsby, the Bigsby mounted at the factory using a VibraMate kit. During 2014, Gibson offered a number of Les Paul Traditional GoldTop P90 models. A Bigsby was desired, but that normally requires drilling at least two holes in the top.
