The Taylor 312ce LH is the left-hand version of the cutaway Grand Concert model with Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. The body blocks and neck are also Mahogany, with Ebony used for the bridge and unbound fingerboard. The head plate is Indian Rosewood.
In its current version, the top uses V-Class bracing and the sides and back are Sapele, but the specs are otherwise the same.
This example dates to October 26, 2006 and is in overall good condition with light play wear and a small amount of ‘buckle rash’ on the back. It plays well, and has a clear, well defined sound with plenty of warmth and sparkle.
