Breedlove Premier Parlor Guitar Spruce and Mahogany, 2016

This Breedlove Premier Parlor Guitar is paired with a Sitka top and Mahogany for the back and sides, was built during 2016 in Bend, Oregon. This discontinued, lovely small bodied guitar is in very good, clean condition and has a full, well balanced tone with plenty of sparkle and warmth. It plays very nicely and is a real sonic pleasure to play.

Martin 000-18 Steel String Natural, 2005

The Martin 000-18 is one of Martin’s older designs, first appearing in 1924 and built until 1932, then from 1934 to today. At the end of 1929, the 000 body design was altered to accommodate a 14-fret neck at the request of prominent banjo players – particularly bandleader Perry Bechtel – migrating to guitar, with the ‘new’ design named the OM or Orchestra Model.

The Gibson Southern Jumbo has been built since 1942, under several names including ‘SJ’ and ‘Country Western’ and is closely related to the classic J-45 which launched at the same time. At times the differences have been mostly market driven and cosmetic.

Larrivee C-09 Florentine Cutaway Steel String, 1994

The Larrivee C-09 is still in production, and is fundamentally an L-09 model but with a pointed Florentine Cutaway. The Larrivee L-Body draws from classical guitar proportions, and delivers a full, rich and evenly balanced tone with plenty of volume and projection.

This Kenny Hill Curva Negra Crossover was built in Hill’s Felton, California workshop during 2005 and features a Hauser-influenced cutaway body. The guitar has a Bearclaw-figured Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood for sides, back headplate and bridge.

Masaru Kohno Special Brazilian Classical, 1990

This is something special – a Masaru Kohno Special Brazilian Rosewood guitar, at or near the top of his line. The ‘Special’ model was originally named the ‘No.50’ and its bridge has a distinctive forward sweep. Signed by M. Kohno and dated to 1990, this well preserved professional grade instrument features a seven-fan European Spruce top paired with Brazilian Rosewood for the sides, back, heel cap, head plate and bridge.
